An app where you can visualize a tattoo you always wanted,
with 3 easy steps.
Pick the tattoo spot
You can pick a spot on the skeleton itself or look for a spot on the "search" bar above.
Once your spot is picked, our app will find the best tattoo ideas that fitted your spot.
Take a pic
Now all that is left is to open your camera and take a pic of the area where you want to simulate the tattoo.
You can also edit the quality of your pic (if the quality is not high enough).
Edit & Save your tattoo
You're all done! See how the tattoo looks on you.
Zoom in, edit the brightness, and add as many tattoos as you like.
Also, you can search for different types of tattoos or you can click on the styles you picked when you registered to Tattock.
Tattock is an app where you can get a simulation of how a tattoo design will look on you.
Our app is suitable for both people who want to get tattoos and tattoo artists that want to optimize the process of choosing the design without wasting unnecessary time and resources.
Will the tattoo even fit?
After some research, I found out that in other apps the tattoo designs are not always available, cost money, and they let you choose from specific tattoo artists that the app gives you access to.
I also noticed that the designs offered, do not necessarily fit the area where the user wants to see the visualization of the tattoo design.
My solution
I came to the conclusion that to receive the most suitable designs for the area you want to tattoo, the application should know in advance which area you want to tattoo and thus also guide you to take a picture of the area itself.
Behind the design
The application's graphic language is illustrative and hipster with black, white, and red colors that are associated with the tattoo world. The skeleton figure and other illustrations are repeated throughout the app to create an authentic feel. The goal is to convey a youthful and flirtatious vibe that makes the user feel special.

The thought's behind the design
Designing the tattoo style and selection screens was challenging. I aimed to make the information clear for all users, even those with no tattoo knowledge. To achieve this, I decided to include both an image and text on the style selection screen after consulting with users.
